Native Healing Herbals is a small business located in the sunny far north of New Zealand.
Native healing herbals has been developed over the years to become a prospering business focused on manufacturing quality hand-made, healing balms and creams using New Zealand's native plants and other medicinal herbs.

Founder and manufacturer Tia Jellick has absolute confidence in her products and has created each recipe as the needs arise for a healing remedy to treat her own families aches, bumps, wounds, itches and bruises. Native healing herbals believe in keeping things simple and natural and the products reflect that - the product range contain no preservatives, additives, chemicals, or any of the "nasties".
Native healing herbals strives to source organic ingredients or the most naturally obtained products, they pick wild grown where possible with respect for our native forests and the moon cycles and they manufactures the balms in a manner beneficial to retaining the medicinal properties of the plants.

Kawakawa balm - 65ml amber glass jar
This balm may assist in the healing of skin complaints particularly eczema and psoriasis, general skin tonic, can use as moisturizer

Wild Yam cream
- 65ml amber glass jar
May be beneficial by balancing hormones associated with PMS and menopause

Kawakawa & Hinau balm - 65ml amber glass jar
Apply to pustular infections and weepy wounds then cover. This balm will draw out infections

Calendula balm - 65ml amber glass jar
Use on sores, dry skin and surface wounds. Sooths nappy rash and cracked nipples in breastfeeding. Do not apply to deep puncture wounds.

Muscle balm - 65ml amber glass jar
Specific to aching joints, muscles and sports injuries.

Apply to bruising, sprains, strains and breaks where there is pain, nerve and tissue damage.

Comphrey and Tupakihi cream

Apply liberally to broken bones, sprains, strains and bruises, use when massaging to ease muscles

Plantain & Colloidal silver cream - 65ml amber glass jar
This cream is beneficial to all skin complaints, especially helpful for wounds, hemorrhoids and infected sites

Tanekaha and Hinau balm
- 65ml amber glass jar
Apply to pustular infections and weepy wounds then cover.
This balm will draw out infections.
An excellent remedy for whitetail spider bites and stimulating wound healing.

Sleepbalm
- 15ml clear glass jar...
Rub onto chest to assist with sleeping, apply under nose to clear congestion, use for thrush

Workshops

Native Healing Herbals facilitates balm making workshops teaching clients how to make a basic healing balm using New Zealand's native Kawakawa (macropiper excelsum or pepper tree).

- Workshops can be held at Native Healing Herbals home base or more often at the premises of the organization requesting the workshop.

- Workshops run for 2 to 2 ½ hours and consist of:

  • balm making
  • common healing plants and herb identification
  • skin care
  • bush lore and respect
  • spiritual healing
  • medicinal properties of plants -

workshop numbers can range from 5 clients upwards clients get to watch a batch of Kawakawa balm be made and interact in the process as well as asking questions and gathering knowledge from the facilitator and others in the group & handling herbs. All resources are provided

Depending on specific group/organization, content may also include:

  • vaccination awareness
  • ante-natal care
  • skin care
  • dietary advice
  • bush lore and respect
  • spiritual healing
  • medicinal properties of plants
